Gleann Eallaigh Naomh Seosamh Club Notes w/c 17 October

The first round of the Reserve championship takes place on Saturday afternoon at 3.30pm in Plumbridge v Errigal Ciaran. All roads lead to St Pat’s Hall Strabane this Saturday evening for our big night of the year – our Jigs & Reels Extravaganza. Doors open at 7.30PM and our first dancers will take to the stage at 8.00PM sharp. This event is now sold out, so patrons are urged to arrive in good time – there will be no admittance once the dancers take to the stage. There will be a late bar and disco to follow so a full evening’s entertainment is assured. Well done to the Mothers and Others team who travelled to Dublin last weekend to take part in the All Ireland 7-a-side tournament. Training for under 16 girls continues at the usual times, with further information regarding their league re-fixture against Trillick awaited. Irish language classes take place on Tuesday evenings at 8 pm in the clubrooms, everyone welcome! Anyone who would like to take part in junior Scór this year is asked to contact either Gail McBride or Maureen Kearney. Glenelly St Josephs would like to express our sincere sympathy to the families of Sarah Armstrong, Plumbridge and Caoimhe O Brien, Douglas Bridge on their recent bereavements.
