Gleann Eallaigh Naomh Seosamh Club Notes w/c 15 August

The Seniors face Errigal Ciaran in the Junior Championship at 5.30pm on Sunday in Killyclogher. Training for the U8s and U 10s (boys and girls) continues on Thursday evening 6.30 to 7.30. The U8s had a very enjoyable blitz last weekend in Strabane; many thanks to Strabane Sigersons for their hospitality. The U 10s have a blitz this weekend which is to be hosted by Glenelly. Further details of the arrangements will be provided at training. Preparations are well under way for our upcoming Jigs & Reels and all entrants are asked to meet in Plumbridge Hall on Thursday 25th August at 8.00PM. Our list of dancers can now be viewed on Facebook or on our Club Website www.glenellygaa.com Congratulations to Maureen Kearney who won our half-time draw last Sunday, and also to Ronan O Kane our Friend Of The Month for August. Glenelly St Joseph’s would like to wish the Mc Bride family all the very best in the All-Ireland Fleadh that is taking place in Ennis this week. Adh mor! Hard luck to the under 16 girls who were defeated by Loughmacrory last week in the league. They will play Sperrin óg this Thursday (18th August) at 7pm in Greencastle. Training continues on a Monday evening at 7.30pm. Training also continues for mothers and others on Monday evenings at 7.30pm. Best of luck to Siobhan Sheerin and the Tyrone ladies who play Clare in the All Ireland intermediate quarter final this Saturday at 3.45pm in Mullingar.
