Gleann Eallaigh Naomh Seosamh Club Notes Wc 21 March

Unfortunately our u14s were defeated 10.4 to 6.7 by Dromore .The minors also suffered defeat today by 3.10 to 2.11 away to Owen Roes. Next Minor game is Wednesday 30th March v Beragh at 6.45pm in Plumbridge. March has been designated Cairde Ghleann Eallaigh Month and we are encouraging as many people as possible to join. As you know we have very ambitious plans for the future and if you would like to join our Cairde Scheme please come along to the Clubhouse this Friday night (9.00-10.00PM).We would be delighted to have you on board. This scheme is open to everyone who would like to support Glenelly St Joseph’s and by joining Cairde Ghleann Eallaigh, you would be playing a very crucial role in supporting the Club in the years ahead. For further details check Training continues for senior and minor ladies on Wednesday night at 8 pm. The minor girls continue their league campaign against Kileeshil on 26th March. Thank you to all the collectors on St. Patrick’s Day and all those you contributed to the Irish language fund. Irish classes continue on Tuesday nights at 8 pm. All new members welcome. Applications are now open for bursaries from the club to attend the Gaeltacht this summer. Applications should be submitted in writing to the club secretary no later than 6th April. Congratulations to Michael and Melissa Nicholas on the birth of their baby girl. We are also hoping to organise a Grand Auction at the Club grounds in early April. If you have got good quality items that you no longer need and feel that these would generate much needed funds for the Club then please contact Pearse or Declan before Sunday 27th March.
