The men’s rearranged Monthly Meeting takes place this Sunday evening at 7.00pm and everyone is reminded to bring their bank details for Cairde Ghleann Eallaigh. Thanks to everyone who entered our Last Man Standing Fundraiser, your support is much appreciated. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates as the competition progresses. Many thanks to everyone who turned up for the Clubhouse Clean-Up last Saturday. Your efforts were very much appreciated. There will be a 25-Card Drive in Foncy Watts this Saturday night at 9.00PM. £3 per person includes supper, and all donations go to Club Funds. Everyone welcome. Many thanks to all who helped with the presentation event held in Gortin Community Centre last Sunday for the Both Domhnaigh Boys teams, particularly to the parents for helping with the refreshments, the Both Domhnaigh Scor Group for providing the music, Liam Nicholas as Guest Speaker and Foncy McConnell in preparing the DVDs. Our Biggest Loser competition began last Tuesday night. Anyone still wishing to join is welcome to come along for their weigh-in next Tuesday at 7.30 in Plumbridge Hall. Registration for all members takes place this Sunday 11.30 -1.00 at the Clubrooms and next Sunday 21st Feb in Cranagh hall from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm. Parents are reminded that ALL underage players must be registered for insurance purposes and the appropriate forms must be filled in. Failure to complete the proper registration forms will result in your child being unable to play football for Glenelly in 2016. As teams are gradually returning to train on the pitch, managers are respectfully asked to avoid those areas that have recently been repaired and that the Changing rooms are swept and cleaned after use. There will be a meeting this Sunday, 14th February in the clubrooms at 1.30 pm for all girls, along with their parents, wishing to play under 14s this year. All new members are welcome. All Croke Park tickets are asked to be returned to the club by 21st February to Eimear Donaghey. The annual 5.5 mile walk/run takes place this Sunday, 14th Feb at 12 noon, registration from 11.30. The run will be timed and refreshments will be provided afterwards. The Ulster Council have launched the Goldmark Volunteering Scheme for young people aged between 14 and 25 years. We are currently seeking someone within this age group to coordinate the scheme. If you are interested or would like to find out more information please contact Brenda Morris. Could all first aid kits please be returned to the club rooms this Sunday 14th between 11.30 am and 12.30 pm so that they can be restocked for the coming season. Training for minor girls continues at the usual time and yoga for senior ladies continues in Gortin hall on Fridays at 7.30 pm. The club would like to extend our sympathies to the McCullagh family on their recent loss.
