Gleann Eallaigh Naomh Seosamh Notes w/c 23 November

The Youth Presentation for 2015 will take place this Sunday at 5.00pm in Cranagh Hall for all our young players from U 6 to U 16 with guest speakers Siobhan Sheerin & Tyrone’s Mark Bradley. Certificates and medals will be awarded to all children who attended training (Thursday evenings) or played in the Sat morning blitzes. Medals also to be awarded to those who played / represented their school / Tyrone Dev squads. It would be appreciated if Parents would assist in the provision of refreshments. Sincere appreciation to everyone who made the long journey to Cahir last weekend to cheer on the Ladies. A special word of thanks to those who organised transport, accommodation, food stops etc to ensure that everything ran so smoothly throughout the weekend. The AGMs have been pencilled in for mid-January and the Club Dinner Dance has been arranged for Saturday 30th January 2016 in the Fir Trees Strabane. More details to follow. Please note that the pitch has now closed for the season to allow essential repair work to commence. Winter programme for all boys players intending to play U16 and U14 football next year will begin on Saturday 28 November in Gortin Community Centre 4-5pm. All players to be present for 3:45pm. Unfortunately the U16 girls narrowly lost out in League final on Saturday to Cappagh after a very good and committed performance. Thanks to all the people involved with team preparation over the season; it was a great achievement for this group of girls to make both finals in their grade and bodes well for the future of the club in what has been an outstanding year – well done.
