Gleann Eallaigh Naomh Seosamh Notes w/c 28 September

Congratulations to the Reserve Team and Management who won the 2015 Junior Reserve Championship with a 2.5 to 2.4 win over Fintona. The Senior Ladies face Armagh Champions Lissummon at 2pm on Sunday in Lissummon in the first round of the Ulster Club Championship. Bus leaving Plumbridge 9.30am sharp at the pitch. Contact Lucy or any of the ladies committee if you’d like to go watch £5 for bus and £5 for optional breakfast along the way. Best of luck to the girls on their Ulster campaign. Training for the U 6s, U8s & U 10s has concluded for the season; we hope to see everyone (and more) back in the not too distant future. Many thanks to the coaches and parents for all their help and assistance throughout the year. It is really important that the Club have the support of the parents at these age groups going forward. The Tyrone County Board will be rolling out a number of courses / workshops over the winter months which will provide an opportunity for those wishing to get involved in coaching of our U6 to U 10 players. So anyone interested in getting involved in coaching for next season they should forward their details to the Club’s Youth Officer (Fergal McAneney 028 81647878). The U 10s participate in the Cappagh Tournament this Saturday 3rd October in Killyclogher. Players to meet at the pitch for 9.20 departing for Killyclogher at 9.30. Players are also advised to bring a packed lunch. Ladies Monthly Meeting this Friday night at 8.45pm. Men’s Monthly Meeting takes place this Sunday at 7.00PM Please note change of times. The Club would like to congratulate Shane Meehan who refereed the Tyrone Senior Semi-Final in Pomeroy last Sunday. We hope to run an Irish Language Class shortly and enrolment will take place at 8.00PM this Friday night in the Clubrooms. If you’ve always wanted to learn "cupla focal" in a fun-filled environment, then this is your big chance! Class size is strictly limited so it’s a case of first come, first served. We would like to thank our Youth Coaches and Parents for all their hard work over the season. Sincere sympathies are extended to the Dooher, Mc Daid and O’ Neill Families on their recent sad bereavements.
