Gleann Eallaigh Naomh Seosamh Club Notes w/c 16 February

The Badoney U14 team had their first outing on Sunday with a very useful game against Donaghmore. Training continues on Tuesday evening at 6.30pm in Gortin. The U14s play Carrickmore on Saturday. Arrangements will be provided to players at training. Next Saturday 28th February they have a final game before the beginning of the league against Claudy. They begin their league campaign on Saturday 7th March with a home game against Kildress. Venue to be confirmed next week. The Badoney minor team continue their preparations for the start of the league with two games this week against Cappagh and Donaghmore. Arrangements for both games will be provided by their coaches. The Minor League begins for Badoney with an away game against Owen Roes on Sunday 1st March. Venue to be confirmed next week. Thanks to Gail McBride from Gail’s Gym for sponsoring a set of jerseys to the Badoney Minor team. Training for the minor team next week will be in Plumbridge on Monday evening at 8pm. Last week seen 15 people exit our Last Man Standing competition, we are now down to 68 people heading into Round 3. You can view the remaining contestants and their selections on our Facebook page. Membership collection times are as follows: Saturday 21st February 30min after Mass (St Brigid’s Cranagh). Membership rates are unchanged from prior years. Anyone wishing to put an ad in the festival book can do so by contacting one of the festival committee closing date for entries will be Friday 3rd April. Next festival meeting will be 8th March 6.45pm. Anyone interested in ladies management this year should contact Lucy or Declan ASAP. Thanks to all those that attended and supported the walk/run on Saturday 14th February making it a great success. Minor ladies league due to start 21st February, home fixture v Fr Rocks at 4pm. U14 Girls will be starting training soon as Feile will be on 7th March. Congratulations to the 2014 U14 Girls team which won ‘Strabane District Team of the Year’ great achievement for the girls and their managers Siobhan Sheerin and Michaela Morris. The club are planning to launch a new website in the coming months. Club membership for 2015 can be paid this Saturday, 21st, after Mass in St Brigid’s Cranagh, from 7.45pm to 8.15pm.
