Gleann Eallaigh Naomh Seosamh club notes w/c 1 September

The Seniors and Reserves have home fixtures against Beragh on Saturday in the ACL. The games throw in at 4.30pm and 6pm. The U13 team played their first game of the league last week and began with a comprehensive victory against Castlederg. This week they play Drumquin away on Friday evening. Transport leaving the clubrooms at 6pm sharp. Training continues for the U13 team on Monday evenings at 6.30pm. The U16 Girls defeated Killeeshil on Saturday by one point. This was an excellent victory considering they were losing by ten points at half-time. This week they play Aghyaran away on Thursday evening. Transport leaving the clubrooms at 6pm sharp. Training continues for the U16 team on Tuesday evenings at 6.30pm. The U16 boys are at home to Eskra on Wednesday at 6.45pm and away to Drumquin on Sunday at 6pm. Training continues on Thursday evening commencing at 6.30pm for the U6s, U8s, U10s boys and girls. The U10s travelled to Strabane Sigersons last Saturday to take part in the Gerard O’Doherty Memorial Tournament only just missing out on a semi-final spot. Many thanks to Jason Foley and congratulations to Strabane on winning the Shield. This Saturday (6 Sept) the U 10s are participating in the Cappagh U 10 tournament – players to assemble at the pitch at 9.00am, leaving at 9.15am. Congratulations to Mark and Sarah McCullagh on their recent wedding. Anyone interested in taking part in Junior Scor should contact Noel O’ Kane on 07598154444 or Maureen Kearney on 81648744 by 14th September The first round of the competition takes place the weekend of17th October at 7.30 pm, venue to be decided.The Club Draw will take place on Saturday 15th November 2014 during the Dinner Dance. Organisers are appealing for twelve volunteers (tomorrow) Friday night at 6.30PM. Tickets have now been reprinted, car drivers nominated, and we will be focusing on certain areas within the County. Club members are asked to make a special effort to sell just 25 books each and this will allow us to achieve our financial target. .Anyone wishing to return/replace their allocation of tickets may contact Bryan Bradley, Sean Mc Cullagh, Roisin Patton, Amanda Mc Crory or Declan Mc Cullagh as soon as possible. Anyone wishing to enrol in Irish Language Classes are asked to complete the registration forms in the Clubrooms.
