The will host Moy in Plumbridge at 11.30 am on Sunday 21st October. The Tyrone junior Scor competition will take place over the next few months, anyone interested in participating in any of the categories is asked to get in touch with a committee member.

We are running our biggest fundraiser of the year at the Mellon Country Inn Hotel on 20th October 2018 at 8.30pm sharp. The night will end with a Disco to late.

U16 boys play Rock in the championship in Plumbridge at 11am Saturday morning. Good luck to players and management. Congratulations to the Tyrone senior ladies and our players Aoife McConnell, Aisling O’Kane and Siobhan Sheerin who were crowned All Ireland Intermediate Champions after overcoming Meath in a brilliant game on Sunday in Croke Park. The under 16 girls host Loughmacrory on Thursday evening, with throw in at 6.15pm. Next U16 game away to Rock on Wednesday evening 29 August. Throw in at 7pm. All players to be there for 6:30pm. Transport leaving Gortin Hall at 5:45pm sharp.

The U16 girls play Moortown in the league on Thursday night (30th August). Match is in Plumbridge with a 7.15pm throw-in. The senior ladies were beaten in the league by Aghyarn and Drumragh after two very tightly contested games. Well done to all the girls and their management for their commitment this year. They have finished 5th in the division 1 league. The club are hosting a ‘Gaeltacht Day’ for anyone aged between 8 and 14 years on Saturday 1st September. There are registration sheets in Carolan’s Shop and in Spar in Plumbridge – no previous experience of Irish language needed.

The senior men have finished for the season. Many thanks to the management team and all who came out to support the teams throughout the year. Special word of thanks to the volunteers who took the gate at home games, did umpire/linesman in all kinds of weather conditions, and to the players families for their support.

Ticket requests for All Ireland Football final are to be with Dylan Flanagan by email or Text only, no later than Friday 17th August at 10pm. No late requests will be accepted.

Ticket requests are limited to 1 per member. In the event of there being insufficient tickets available to meet the requests the Club’s allocation policy will be used.

There are no guarantees on the location of the tickets in Croke Park so please do not ask for specific Stands, Tier etc.

Non-members will not be considered for a ticket for the Final so please do not request tickets for them.

The Minor boys came up short against a strong Trillick outfit, 4-14 to 4-04 in Monday’s League Final. The boys & management should be commended for an excellent season and for battling right to the end.

The U16 boys kicked off their league campaign with a 1-06 to 0-09 draw away to Aghyaran. They were defeated by Beragh on Thursday night.

Many thanks to all those who helped with food & refreshments for last Wednesday’s U14 celebrations, in particular to Pearse O’Kane for organising & Tasty Mac’s for providing hot food promptly on such short notice.
