Both Domhnaigh U14s are away to Greencastle on Saturday in the U14 League. All players to be in Greencastle for 12:30 pm.The next game for the minor girls is against Edendork on Monday 27th March at 6pm in Edendork. Training continues on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7pm. Hard luck to the under 14 girls who were defeated by a very strong Moy side at the weekend. Their next game is away to Strabane on Thursday 4th April. Training continues on Tuesday evenings at 6pm. Training for senior ladies continues on a Wednesday nights at 7.45pm and 9am on Sunday mornings. All ladies player, underage and senior, are reminded that they must wear a mouth guard this season. Registration will be collected in the clubrooms on Friday night at 8pm. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the annual St. Patrick’s Day church gate collection in support of the club’s promotion of Irish language and culture. Irish language classes continue on Tuesday nights at 8pm in the clubrooms. Update on Last Man Standing Fundraiser: 35 people eliminated in gameweek 3, leaving 116 remaining for gameweek 4 which is on 1st April!

The club thanks all those who helped with the club clean up on Saturday. A second clean up is required and will take place in the coming weeks. The club would like to thank everyone who contributed to our National Club Draw. The draw takes place this Wednesday 8th March at GAA HQ. Best of luck to all those who bought tickets.Club membership will be collected this Friday night @8pm in the clubrooms. It is important that playing members pay their membership as soon as possible, as they will not be eligible to play without insurance. Rates remain the same as last year. Our Cairde Friend of the Month is Sean & Roisin McConnell.
Hard luck to the minor girls who were defeated by a strong Castlederg side in Plumbridge last week. They are away to Drumragh this Sun 12th February with throw in at 4pm. Training continues on Monday evenings at 7pm. The under 14 girls game scheduled for this weekend against Galbally has been postponed due to a county fixture. Training continues on Tuesday evenings at 6pm. Training for senior ladies continues on a Wednesday night at 7.45pm and 9am on Sunday mornings. The club would like to congratulate Maria O’Hagan who will represent Glenelly on the Tyrone under 16 team this year. The club are running a Last Man Standing Fundraiser- Entry Fee £10. Prize Fund £250. All Entries must be received by this Friday 3rd March. Please contact any Senior/Reserve Player for an entry form. Forms are also available in McCullagh’s Spar-Plumbridge. Thanks for supporting this fundraiser for Senior/Reserve team training funds. Club membership will be collected again this Friday night in clubrooms at 8pm. It is important that all senior and youth players are registered for upcoming league games. The minor boys begin their league campaign with a game vs Trillick on Saturday @2.30pm in Plumbridge. All support warmly welcomed. We are away to Moortown with throw-in at 4 pm. Training for under 14 girls takes place on Tuesday evenings at 6.30pm. The senior ladies train on Wednesday evenings at 7.20pm and Sunday mornings at 9 am. Many thanks to everyone who supported the traditional night on Saturday. All proceeds will be going to the club, and it’s all help is deeply appreciated. Final collections will be made this Sunday 12th February @6pm. The Annual Dinner Dance took place on Saturday night in the Fir Tree’s Hotel. The club would like to thank Johnny and his staff on the night, and to all who helped organise the event behind the scenes. Anyone willing to "take up the whistle " in 2017 and begin refereeing at Ladies and youth football, can the please contact Nicola Bradley (glenellylgfc) ASAP, as courses will be run within the next few weeks.

The national GAA fundraiser draw was launched on Sunday 15 January and we are asking our Senior players, our Cairde and Club members, to sell just one book each – every book contains 5 tickets@£10 each, and 100% of the proceeds of tickets sales remain within the Club. Tickets are on sale from many club committee members and playing members. All tickets must be sold by Friday 27th January to be entered into the draw.

St Brigid’s Crossmaking will take place in the Plum Parish Hall on Tuesday 31st January @8pm.
