The National Club Draw was launched on Sunday 7th January and we are asking our Senior players, our Cairde and Clubmembers, to sell just one book each – every book contains 5 tickets@£10 each, and 100% of the proceeds of tickets sales remain within the Club, to be put to good use.

Prizes this year include a brand new Renault Dynamique,Travel, Hotel and Shopping Vouchers as well as 7 All Ireland football & Hurling Final packages!

Tickets are on sale from many clubcommittee members and playing members. Additional tickets are available from Sean’s Shop or from Dylan at Glenform (21 Main St). All tickets (sold & unsold) must be brought back by Friday 2nd February.

Our first collection will take place this Friday night in the clubrooms at 7pm. Club lotto is on sale in all local outlets. Last week’s numbers were:

A 6-8 week multi-sport/activity programme has been organised, for all of our under 12 and under 14 girls, to help build up fitness before we start into our football training in the spring. The programme has been arranged with Derry City and Strabane District Council and will take place in Cranagh Hall every Tuesday from 7-8pm beginning Tuesday 16th January. The programme will cost £1 per girl each night to contribute towards the cost of the hall.This is a great opportunity to come together, have fun and develop a range of skills through a variety of activities and sports.
We hope you can take advantage and we look forward to seeing you all on the 16th

The Seniors and Reserves have away fixtures v Clann na nGael on Sunday at 5.15pm and 6.45pm. Both Domhnaigh U16 match V Dromore on Thursday evening at 7pm in Plumbridge. Please note change of venue. All players to be in Plumbridge at 6:30pm. The club extends its congratulations to Rory Kennedy and the Tyrone U17 team on winning the inaugural All Ireland U17 championship. The Under 12 boys attended the Peter Duffy Memorial Tournament on Saturday, where they went undefeated in the group stage, only to lose to a strong Strabane team in the Cup final. The boys are commended in their valiant efforts. Under 6-10 training will be at the earlier time of 6pm this week, due to the Under 16 game. Club lotto is on sale in all local outlets. Training for under 12 girls continues every Tuesday evening at 6.30pm. There will be training for all under 6s, 8s and 10s(boys and girls) on Thursday evening at 6.00 pm – all new players welcome! Well done to the minor girls who defeated Castlederg in the league semi-final last week and now progress to the final – brilliant result by the players and management! The under 16 girls are at home to Ardboe this Friday evening (1st Sept) with throw in at 7pm and are away to Drumragh next Tues (5th Sept) with throw in at 7pm. The senior ladies will be hosting a 7-a-side tournament on Saturday 9th September in Plumbridge. The Seniors and Reserves have away fixtures against Derrytresk on Sunday evening at 5pm and 6.30pm. Congratulations to Aodhán Mc Connell & Cormac Mc Bride who were part of the Tyrone U16s who won the Buncrana Cup on Saturday. Development sub-committee meeting takes place on Monday 28 August at 7pm. The U12 Boys are away to Tattyreagh on Thursday. Transport leaving clubhouse at 6.15pm. Both Domhnaigh U16s game v Drumragh has been rescheduled for Monday 4th September. U16s next game is now on Monday 21st August away to Beragh. Training for under 12 girls continues every Tuesday evening at 6.30pm. There will be training for all under 6s, 8s and 10s(boys and girls) on Thursday evening at 6.00 pm – all new players welcome! The minor girls are still awaiting a date for their league semi-final. The under 16 girls play Coalisland Fianna next Tuesday evening (22nd) in Plumbridge, with throw in at 7pm. Best of luck to Siobhan Sheerin and the Tyrone ladies who play Leitrim this Sunday 20th August in Carrick-on-Shannon with throw in at 3.15 pm. Ticket request window for the All Ireland Semi Final has now closed. Adult tickets are priced at £42 and juveniles £5. Those who requested Senior citizen and Student tickets will purchase full price tickets and get rebate of €10 with valid I.D. at Block D, Stiles 1 to 5 in the Cusack Stand (Rebate can only be claimed on entry into the stadium via BLOCK D). With the game set to be a sell out, it will not be possible to allocate everyone their preferred seat. Club lotto is on sale in all local outlets. Orders are now being taken for tickets for the forthcoming Tyrone vs Dublin All Ireland Semi Final in Croke Park on Sunday 27th August 2017. Orders for tickets will be accepted from fully paid club members until Sunday 13th August 2017 at 10.00pm. Orders will not be accepted after this deadline. To order, club members must send a text to Club Secretary Dylan Flanagan on 07851812962 with the number of tickets and the preferred class of ticket (Adult, Child, Student or Senior Citizen).

Many thanks to everyone who helped to organise the Girls Under 16 Blitz in memory of the late Kevin Corey. A special thank you to all the teams and their managers who attended and made it a very successful event. Thank you to the parents who provided and served the refreshments. Good luck to everyone taking part in the Ulster Fleadh. Many thanks to all who made our Club Tyrone Summer Camp a tremendous success with almost 80 children in attendance. Particular thanks to Matthew (McCullagh), Catherin Conway and to Roisin, Brigid, Monica, Pauline, Patricia, Breege and Shauna who assisted with the refreshments and to anyone else who helped in any way.

Reserve championship takes place on Saturday evening at 7pm at home to Owen Roes. The minors have a home fixture on Friday evening at 7.30 v Newtownstewart. Many thanks to all who helped make the U 8 blitz hosted by Glenelly last Saturday a tremendous success. Particular thanks to Kevin for arranging our referees for the day – Cormac, Fergus & Nathan, to Eamonn & Gail for the video / photography and to Fergal (Coyle) and John for setting up the pitches. Thanks also to the coaches of our U 8 players for their assistance and special thanks to the parents of the players for their assistance in the provision of the refreshments to the travelling teams. Well done to the under 14 girls and their management for all their hard work this season. Well done to the senior ladies who had wins over Sperrin Og and Clann na nGael last week. They are away to St. Macartan’s this Sunday at 7pm, venue to be confirmed. Training continues on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. There will be training for all under 6s, 8s and 10s(boys and girls) on Thursday evening at 6.30pm – all new players welcome! The club are organising a bus to attend the Tyrone ladies Ulster final in Clonmore (Armagh) on Friday 30th June at 7.30 pm. They will play Moy on Thursday 1st June at 7.30pm in Plumbridge in the quarter final of the Championship. The senior ladies will play Clan na Gael on Sat 3rd June at 7pm in Plumbridge. Training continues on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. There will be training for all under 6s, 8s and 10s(boys and girls) on Thursday evening at 6.30pm – all new players welcome! Congratulations to Leo and Aine Conway on the birth of their daughter. Next committee meeting is on Monday night at 8.30pm. The club extends our sympathy to the family of Katie Kirk.
