Training for Glenellys Mini Blues (u6/u8/10s) continues this Thursday evening from 6pm – 7pm. Donation £1 per child. All new players are most welcome! Please note slightly earlier start time due to Minor match after. Early bird enrolment is now open for the Summer Camp which will take place between 16th-19th July. Please check our Facebook page for details. A massive thank you to all who helped in any way hosting the u8.5 blitz at the club on Saturday past and well done to our Mini Blues some representing our club for the first time. Info on future blitz will be available from cosches at training on Thursday and via our Facebook/Twitter. The Seniors and Reserves have home fixtures on Sunday V Beragh at 2.15pm and 3.45pm. Can anyone who is available to officiate as umpires and linesmen at Sunday’s senior and reserve games, please contact Dylan (07851812962) by Saturday night. The club appreciates all volunteers who help in any way. Well done to the senior ladies who got their league campaign off to a winning start against Sperrin Og on Sunday. The club would like to congratulate Dearbhla Scallon, Gortin, who won the All Ireland Scor Sinsear, (solo singing) last week. Dearbhla has previously represented Badony in Scor. The Seniors and Reserves have away fixtures against Castlederg on Sunday. Reserves 2.15pm, Seniors 3.45pm. The senior ladies begin their league campaign this Sunday away to Sperrin Og with throw in at 6.30pm. Hard luck to the under 14 girls who were defeated by Urney last week, they are away to Derrytresk on Mon 16th April with throw in at 6.30pm. The minor girls are away to Omagh this Thursday, 12th April, with throw in at 6.30pm. The club are currently seeking a manager to assist with under 12 girls – this is a great opportunity to help with the development of our young players. If you are interested, please contact Nicola Bradley at glenellylgfc. Glenelly’s Mini Blues, U6/U8 & U10 training commences this Thursday evening from 6.15PM – 7.15PM. The first U8.5 blitz will be hosted in Glenelly this Saturday 14th April 2018. More details at training. The National Club Draw took place in March and unfortunately the club had no winners. Our half time draw at Sunday’s game was won by Owen McCloskey and Owen has generously handed the prize money back to the club. On a similar act of kindness, our Ladies County footballer, Siobhan Sheerin also refused to take a penny for presenting at our Youth presentation. A huge Go raibh maith agaibh to both of them on these kind gestures. The Seniors and Reserves have home fixtures V Clann na Gael on Sunday. Reserves at 2.15pm, Seniors 3.45pm.

U6, U8 and U10 football starts on Thursday 12th April at 6.15PM. All parents are encouraged to take their children along. The club will host an U8.5 blitz on Saturday 14th April. More details available at the first training session.

Next Minor boys training is in Plumbridge on Monday evening at 7.30pm. Next Minor game V Pomeroy on Wednesday 11 April at 7pm in Plumbridge.

The purpose of this meeting is to plan the commencement of u6, u8 and u10s. It is important that all coaches are in attendance. All new faces most welcome! There will be a Youth Committee meeting on Sunday 18th March at 6pm in the clubrooms. All coaches involved at u6, u8 and u10s in particular are encouraged to attend to plan for the incoming season. All new faces are most welcome! Dates will also be set for coach mentoring. Minor league starts Sunday 18 March away to Trillick. Membership will be collected on Sunday morning 10.30am to 11am. You can also pay your membership through the GAA App. The U14 Boys start their league campaign with an away game in Fintona on Wednesday night All support welcome. The pitch goalmouths have been recently repaired. All managers are asked that they refrain from using the goalmouths for as long as possible. Club lotto is on sale in all local outlets. Membership will be collected on Friday night @ 9.15pm and Sunday 10.30-11am after Mass in Plumbridge. Our Last Man Standing Fundraiser was to start last weekend. However, due to weather conditions we were unable to get all entry forms collected. As a result, the 1st week of the competition will be a bye and it will now commence on the 10th of March. Entry forms are still available from all Senior and Reserve players. Lotto – This weeks numbers are 3, 4, 14, 17, 18

No winners this week. Jackpot for next week is £2000.

The minor girls game against Moy was postponed due to the weather last weekend. They will play Sperrin Og in Plumbridge at 6.30pm on Mon 26th March. Training continues on Monday and Thursday evenings. Training for senior ladies has also commenced, please get in touch with any player/committee member for training times. There will be an Irish language collection taken up after St. Patrick’s Day masses for the support and promotion of Irish within our club.National Draw tickets- thanks to everyone who purchased tickets for GAA National Draw. Winners will be publicised after draw takes place on Thursday March 8th. Grounds clean up to take place Saturday 24th March at 11pm. All help from members would be greatly appreciated. A health and wellbeing meeting will take place Sunday 11th March at 6pm in the club rooms. All members welcome. Vote of sympathy are extended to the family of Kathleen Quinn Sion Mills.

The club are running a Last Man Standing fundraiser. Entry form have to be returned on friday 2nd of March. Available from all senior/reserve players. The Annual Club Awards were held on Friday Night. The club would like to thank Leo for his hospitality, Tasty Mac’s for providing the Food and to Dj Chris for entertainment on the night. Thanks to all who helped organise the event behind the scenes. Winners on the night were as follows:
